Hey queens,
This Titleholder Tuesday is celebrating the accomplishments of Brittany O’Neal! Brittany is from Jonesboro, AR and is your current Royal International Miss Arkansas. She has also held the titles of 2018 USA National Miss Arkansas and 2015 International Girl. This 22-year-old is a race car driver and started drag racing at 14 years old! Isn’t that amazing? But what’s even more amazing is her love for her family; they are always there to support her through highs and lows, and her parents, sisters, nieces, and nephews make her so happy and proud.
Be sure to follow her RIMstagram!
Take it away, Brittany!
Every day may not be good but there is something good in every day.
I started doing pageants when I was 4 months old. I absolutely love being on that stage and showing my personality. It is my time to show the audience who I am and what I stand for. When the stage lights are shining so bring that you just look into the crowd and all eyes are on you, that’s when the stress goes away, all the worry goes away, everything that you worked for is there in the moment. That feeling that you have when on stage makes us woman feel empowered, makes us feel amazing in a way a woman should feel.
I love being able to meet new friends and find new pageant sisters. Going to a big place and meeting girls from all around the world and sharing a bound is magical. Then being able to take those friendships back home with you is something that you cannot get anywhere else. Competing on a national stage for the first time was the best feeling in the world. I’ve competed in many small pageants but there was nothing to compare to walking out on that runway.
Pageantry has made me brave. I may look like I have it all on stage, but it took a
lot to gain confidence to show people who I am and what I look like. Humorous. I also feel that I am funny. I love to make people laugh. Especially when others are feeling down. I love to uplift people and make smiles come out. Caring. I have a big heart ranging from dogs, to family, to helping others. If can help someone feel good about their selves or even put a smile on their face, then I know that I have done my part in making this world a better place because there always needs to be smiles.
My personal platform is #JustBreathe which raises awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. This is very personal and close to my heart. I have been advocating this platform for 5 years now. I am a team leader for the state of Arkansas for the CF Foundation. We participate in walks across the state to help raise money in helping find a cure for CF. The science behind the scenes is not government funded so all the money raised goes straight to the
organization.
The Queen Next Door is an amazing opportunity to get your name and platform out to the public and even the nation. This is another way to get girls to come together and see what others can provide for each other. Meeting new people is always a plus. This is a place where you get to know one another and see what they have to bring to the
table. Not just looking at a headshot and seeing a beautiful girl but getting the know them as well.
Brittany will be competing for the title of 2019-2020 Royal International Miss this July in Orlando, FL! I can’t wait to watch this passionate young woman gracefully represent her state on that international stage. The Queen Next Door wishes Brittany the best of luck!
Until next time,
Jordan
