Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today’s Titleholder is Leanna Joy Byrom! This 12-year-old is from Litchfield Park, Arizona, and currently holds the title of Royal International Miss Arizona Pre-Teen. She loves her family, and her first name was derived from her two grandmothers. Her Granny’s first name is Anna, and her Nana’s middle name is Lee. Together, they make Leanna!
Be sure to follow her RIMstagram and Instagram.
Take it away, Leanna!
“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” -Gail Devers.
About a year ago my friend participated in NAM. She invited me to come watch and cheer her on. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! The next year I competed with her, and I was hooked; I continued to compete in various pageant systems. I am thankful to represent RIM.
I have always enjoyed being on stage. The lights and music thrills me! My favorite part of pageants is definitely the on-stage competitions.
Once I was competing in a pageant and I was a little nervous before the interview. I told my friend, and she said to me, “Don’t be nervous! I know you, you’re kind and beautiful, so just be yourself! If you do that, you’ll blow the judges away.” Then, she gave me a hug.
My Platform is Bridge the Gap where I focus on encouraging younger generations to connect with our older generations. In addition to that I am bringing more awareness to Alzheimer’s disease and how to treat people who are affected by it and help support their caregivers. I visit a local nursing home and play the piano for the residents there. It is something I really enjoy, especially when I see the residents perk up to the sound of my music being played. I also volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, and St. Vincent de Paul’s with my family and fellow RIM Sister Queens which I absolutely love!
I love The Queen Next Door because of the positivity! I enjoy reading about all the different queens, and all of the different people who share my passion. I love the blog with great tips and information!
This humorous, determined, and enthusiastic Pre-Teen will be competing for the title of 2019 Royal International Miss Pre-Teen this July in Orlando, Florida! We wish her the best of luck here at The Queen Next Door.
See you next week,
